Question/Answers about Day Permits
Q. Can I make changes to the booking if I need to once I've bought a Permit?
A. Yes, you can. There will be a link in your confirmation email that allows you to make changes.
Q. Do I need a paper version of the permit?
A. You'll have the email confirmation on your phone, which will be fine. The email will contain a pdf of the permit itself so you could print off and bring with you if you want to. Handy, for example, if you forget your phone or your phone runs out of charge.
Q. I have a Membership Coupon but have forgotten my code - where do I find it?
A. When you buy a Day Permit, and you want to pay for it with your Membership Coupon, you'll need your Membership Coupon code. You'll find the code in the confirmation email you received when you bought the Membership Coupon. If you can't find the email confirmation - and you can't find the note where you jotted it down (!) - then contact us and we'll remind you of your code.
Q. I've bought a Day Permit but haven't had a confirmation email?
A. It's probably in your junk email folder - please check. If you have any problems, contact the fishery.
Q. How many fish can I take on a Day Permit?
A. A £30 day permit allows you to kill up to 3 stock rainbows under 3lb in weight to take home.
Q. What if I have killed 3 fish and want to catch and release trout?
A. Old Hall & Frog Hall Lakes each have a 3 fish catch limit, whether killed or returned. You can then continue to fish Crabtree Lake C & R for the rest of your visit.
Q. What if I don’t want to kill any trout during my visit?
A. You may catch and release the 3 fish maximum catch limit on each of Old Hall & Frog Hall Lakes. You can continue to fish Crabtree Lake C & R for the rest of your visit. The ticket price is the same.
